It is also the administrator’s responsibility to manage and upgrade operating systems.
Implement & Integrate

For the convenience of users, it is the administrator’s responsibility to document systems infrastructure.
Security & Strategies

Great Expertise

Job Summary:
This position will provide at the elbow support for the end users of the EPIC Clinical Information System (CIS). within the organization.
The Epic at the Elbow (ATE) Specialist plays an integral role in supporting staff and physicians during the implementation of the EPIC Clinical Information System (CIS). You will primarily be within clinical patient areas to support physicians and other clinical team members during go-live. Confidentiality and professionalism is a must. The goal of the At the Elbow (ATE) Specialist is to provide on-unit support such that staff effectively and efficiently utilize the CIS during the first few critical transition weeks of go-live
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide at the elbow support to current and new offices on a regular cadence determined by management.
Be available for emergent at the elbow support.
Instruct training program for new and established team members and support the on boarding of new provider offices.
Review, evaluate, and test new software and software upgrades.
Implement approved process flows with team members.
Identify, troubleshoot, resolve workflow questions within the offices through taking helpdesk calls and rounding within offices.
Work closely with the analyst team and/or vendor helpdesk to resolve software problems.
Maintain excellent customer service while working with physicians and team members.
Ensures that the software functions efficiently daily and remains in safe functioning condition.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in information systems, business or technical field preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible experience in information systems. Health care setting preferred.
Knowledge of Epic Ambulatory systems and workflows.
Knowledge of electronic medical record processes, problem identification, medical data processing practice.
Skilled in performing as programmer/analyst to resolve problems requiring critical thinking, coordinate simultaneous efforts, recover from data loss, speed up development, improve program efficiencies.
Ability to be oriented to end-user support needs across multiple sites.
Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and oral.
Must be flexible, will include some evening and weekend hours.
Position requires 100% travel to outlying offices
